چکیده

We investigate the existence of several families symmetric periodic solutions as continuation circular orbits Kepler problem for certain differentiable perturbations using an appropriate set Poincare-Delaunay coordinates which are essential in our approach. More precisely, we try separately two situations independent way, namely, when unperturbed part corresponds to a inertial cartesian and it rotating on ℝ3. Moreover, characteristic multipliers characterized. The planar case arises particular case. Finally, apply these results study stability Matese-Whitman Hamiltonian generalized Stormer model.

Periodic solutions of radially symmetric perturbations of Newtonian systems

The classical Newton equation for the motion of a body in a gravitational central field is here modified in order to include periodic central forces. We prove that infinitely many periodic solutions still exist in this case. These solutions have periods which are large integer multiples of the period of the forcing, and rotate exactly once around the origin in their period time.

Periodic solutions for planar autonomous systems with nonsmooth periodic perturbations

In this paper we consider a class of planar autonomous systems having an isolated limit cycle x0 of smallest period T > 0 such that the associated linearized system around it has only one characteristic multiplier with absolute value 1. We consider two functions, defined by means of the eigenfunctions of the adjoint of the linearized system, and we formulate conditions in terms of them in order...

Periodic Orbits of Hamiltonian Systems: Applications to Perturbed Kepler Problems

We provide for a class of Hamiltonian systems in the action– angle variables sufficient conditions for showing the existence of periodic orbits. We expand this result to the study of the existence of periodic orbits of perturbed spatial Keplerian Hamiltonians with axial symmetry. Finally, we apply these general results for finding periodic orbits of the Matese– Whitman Hamiltonian, of the spati...

The Kepler Problem with Anisotropic Perturbations

We study a 2-body problem given by the sum of the Newtonian potential and an anisotropic perturbation that is a homogeneous function of degree −β, β ≥ 2. For β > 2, the sets of initial conditions leading to collisions/ejections and the one leading to escapes/captures have positive measure. For β > 2 and β 6= 3, the flow on the zero-energy manifold is chaotic. For β = 2, a case we prove integrab...
